So, I think I might change my major...AGAIN. For the last time I hope.
I've been doing photography and the digital media at UofH, and lately I've been really hating it. I don't want to hate photography, it was something I LOVED doing so I decided to make it my career. Recently, I've been so unmotivated because I have to impress all these people with the stuff I do, and I realized I HATE DOING THIS FOR OTHER PEOPLE. And I'd still have 2 1/2 years before I would graduate. I thought about it last night A LOT, and not just last night either, and I decided I would like to teach Math and during the summer breaks and other vacation time I could work on photography on the side. I've learned enough to know how to get started, and I've met enough people to ask for help if I needed to.
I just had an epiphany last night. I don't want this as a career and teaching math is easy to me. And it's safe. I'd get insurance and a stable income. And I NEED money to do photography...It's EXPENSIVE. So I think, and hope, that I will be content with this decision.
