Status Report: Hot & Without Internet
Not worth a CFO post, but I wanted to put this up at least as an apology to those I dropped threads with--this is for Thor, Ricochet, & Mullin, by the by.
My air conditioning has been out since last Sunday, and the record heat sweeping across the US finally reached my area with unbearable temps starting Thursday. The repair guy has been jerking me around all week, telling me it'll be fixed as soon as a part comes in, only to change when the part is supposed to come in.... It's thrown my ability to schedule for a loop, and the heat finally got so bad I had to abandon house and crash with cousins. I've been loath to commandeer their computer for RP purposes, so that's why I haven't picked up threads in a little while--I posted some replies tonight while I've been home getting extra clothes, but I'm about to leave again and don't know when I'll have a chance to pick them back up. Just know that I'd really like to, and plan to, once my house is habitable again.
