nicole comes today
holy effin crap! i am so excited. unfortunately, nicole doesn't come for another 13 hours though. seriously this is going to be the longest day ever! i can't wait for it to be 10:30 pm so i can see her. i don't think i am going to let her go back to mn again. i think i am going to keep her here with me.
overall things have been getting better lately and i actually feel as though i have some "real" friendships starting to bloom (how cheesy does that sound!). but honestly, that is good. not that they will ever be as amazing as my mn friends, but still...its nice to have some friendly faces around. other than that though things are still awkward and i rarely feel at ease or comfortable in my surrounds or even my apartment.
we bought a 4th matching bookshelf, so now we have an entire giant wall o' books. for anyone who saw our books in mn, add another full bookshelf on to that. its totally ridiculous! and pretty much amazing. and damn, if it doesn't make us look smart. :)
i went and saw the 4th harry potter movie on friday, which was awesome. is it wrong that i totally think harry is hot? and is it wrong to admitt that i cried a little during the movie?
nicole, steven and i are going to stay at my mother's for thanksgving and having thansgving dinner with steven's family. it will be the first time in 7 years that i haven't cooked the meal myself and the first time without sarah in 7 years as well. damn i miss her and jeff. i totally miss orphan's thanksgving!! i keep telling myself that it will be fun, but i really am not looking forward to the triple F (forced family fun). At least, nicole will be with us, which will be great. she'll get to meet my mom and sister and sister's baby.
