Playoff game... Capital.... end of Season

It was our first playoff game...and would be our last football game as a bothell cougar, and for most it was even our last football game ever.

We were scheduled to play the Capital Cougars, a team we have played 3 years in a row.  The Cougar Bowl.  The advantage to this, is we knew how they played. The disadvantage....they knew how we played.

I can't remember the last time I cried. But as I was reading your entry tears were streaming down my face. If I had the power to change one thing is this world it would be to go back and make you healthy, so that you could live your dreams under the Friday Night Lights. I can't even imagine how hard it was for you to sit out the whole season, but you stuck with the team through it all and never gave up. Right now I look up to you more than anybody and I am so proud that you are my little brother.

OMG MICHAEL! I am crying hardcore right now. I know that you would have been a HUGE stud out there. I wish I could have watched you play. I wore your jersey once this season and it meant the WORLD to me. I was so proud that I got to wear #3! Seeing you in the hall before every game crying..made me want to cry too. You are the strongest person i know. I feel your pain. I got cut from vball junior year and stayed with it too. It was the best season of my life. I'm sorry you couldn't play. But you know what, everyone of those boys played every game for you. YOU ARE MY HERO! I love you so much you have no idea!

chills. i got chills the second i started reading this entry. michael, you are amazing. Amazing for still being a part of the team even if you had injuries. Amazing for staying for every practice, every meeting, and amazing for being you. you have such a big heart and you are a big part of the team. thanks for letting me wear your jersey, it meant a lot to me! remember all of the fun times you had out there with your friends and family. i love you.
