To write my English paper final, I decided to take a new approach, and see how it panned out. I've always been taught to first think of a thesis statement, then think of three points to justify said statement, then find quotes that back up the three points. Then write an introduction and conclusion.

From 12-1:30, and from 4-9 I got online and searched for my book A Woman in Amber, and themes reoccur through out. Turns out other than wikipedia, it hasn't been looked at analytically. It's not even on sparknotes. Anyways, I simply wanted to see what other people thought the themes were, since I sometimes miss out on the really obvious ones. I found something to settle on, and as I did so, I had a stroke of brilliance, and I figured out what my thesis statement would be. I then found the passage that perfectly fit my thesis, and will use it as my beginning block quote. I then went through the entire book, this is the 4-9 part, finding quotes justifying my thesis. And as I found the quotes, I wrote reactions to them, and did a sort of mini-critical analysis on them, and boom, I had written about 2/3 of my paper. Now it's just a matter of typing it up, and coming up with an interest-sparking introduction.

I cannot believe i just wrote about the process of writing my paper as a livejournal entry. I'm going to go ahead and post this, for the ridiculousness of it all.

Upon completion of this paper, I will only have to study for my stagecraft final which is on Monday, and practice my monologue for my audition (AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FREAKING OUT.) on Tuesday, and for when I have to preform it as my final for my acting class.

I went to class every single day this quarter. I think I deserve something fancy. In the form of an alcoholic beverage. Too bad I turn 21 in 56 days. Curse you leap year for adding an extra day! It would have been 55 days, you s.o.b.
