[V6] Only Star - 03/29/2010 - Part 1
I've finally started working on something to do with V6! Here are questions submitted by Oristar readers which V6 members then answer. Only Kamisen's questions are done for now, but I'll probably update soon with Tonisen's as well. I would really like to do the long group talk that comes with the article too, but the text is cut off on one of the pages. :( I've already PM-ed the person who originally scanned this and am waiting to hear back from her; if she re-scans it, I'll translate the group talk, and if she doesn't, you'll have to make do with only these Q&As. Sorry!

Their long awaited album after two and a half years is complete!
Are you ready to enjoy it?
After two and a half years, their album is finally complete. What sort of mature entertainment will they produce, as they speak of their bonds growing even stronger with the passage of time? We look into the true "V6" they speak of as they welcome their 15th anniversary.
Questions for V6 from Oristar readers
Morita Go
Q. Thanks for your hard work on your stageplay ("Chi wa tatta mama netteiru")! Please tell us if there were any incidents with your other co-actors.
(Miyagi Prefecture, 24 female)
Morita: Any incidents... there were lots. At any rate, all sorts of people came to watch... Karasawa (Toshiaki)-san and I weren't acquaintances, but he came to my dressing room to say hello. He complimented me with "It was great".
--Was it fun?
Morita: It was the best.
--Would you want to do it again?
Morita: (with a sloppy smile) Yeah, I'd want to do it again.
Q. Please tell us your goals and mental state after turning 31.

Morita: Goals... I don't have any when it comes to turning 31, but there might have been a bit of something when I turned 30. I might have... thought about wanting to try harder and work more. That includes meeting people.
Q. What have you gained from performing in stageplays and movies?
(Kanagawa Prefecture, 20 female)
Morita: It would be "meeting people".
--What about the renewerd determination of "I want to become this sort of actor!"?
Morita: I wanted to be a steady actor, not something like "natural acting". I want to convey the words clearly rather than talk in a whisper.
Q. Do the other members have any bad habits that bother you?

Morita: What is it..... (5 seconds of consideration) Okada's longwinded when he talks (laugh)!
Q. If you were a girl, which V6 member would you become a fan of?

Morita: Firstly, the "if I was a girl" setting is impossible (laugh). Besides, it's tough even when you tell me to imagine that when we've already been together for 15 years. Even married life won't have that freshness to it after 15 years, don't you think (laugh)?
Okada Junichi
Q. What was tough, fun and happy during filming for the "SP" movie?

Okada: We went into it with an enthusiasm of "Let's do something that's never been done in Japan before", and while action films are usually like this too, even the shooting on the streets were really unrelenting. There was a lot of trial and error going on in trying to give off the feeling of being on the streets of Tokyo while filming in a place where we could just barely comply with traffic laws.
Q. What is the appeal to V6 after the passing of years in the eyes of its youngest member?
(Shimane Prefecture, 26 female)
Okada: It feels like everyone's become very laidback in a positive sense of the word. After doing this for 15 years and holding to our own rules, our trust in each other have really strengthened. Though you might very well feel the age gap now more so than before. Still, I don't think it's a bad thing to feel that difference, maybe something more along the lines of our tools to understand one another have increased.
Q. If you became a part of SP and had to protect one of the other members, who would you choose?

Okada: It wouldn't be just one person, I'd protect all five of them equally (laugh).
Q. Is there anything you want to do while you're still in your 20s?

Okada: I want to search for acting that I can still do in my 20s.
Q. Do the other members have any bad habits that bother you?

Okada: It's not a bad habit! (laugh) Well, I suppose I do get longwinded when I get into it (wry laugh).
Q. If you were a girl, which V6 member would you become a fan of?

Okada: Maybe Ken-kun. I want to try to get more people to see how interesting he is. I think it would be nice if I could get how interesting Ken-kun is across.
Miyake Ken
Q. Which recent incident were you most excited over?
(Saitama Prefecture, 22 female)
Miyake: When I finished my solo song from this time around.
Q. The word "i-d-o-l" was in the title of your solo song, "Kanashii hodo ni i-d-o-l ~glass no kutsu~"; at what instant would you think that you're an idol too?

Miyake: Concerts. Definitely when all the fans are screaming at us!
Q. You're probably told that you look young a lot by those around you, Ken-kun, but are you yourself actually happy to be called young?

Miyake: I'd for sure be happy, wouldn't I? It has its own advantages after all (laugh).
Q. I jog everday, but if there is a Miyake style of jogging please by all means tell me!

Miyake: I do dashes after jogging 5~8 kilometres everyday from Sunday to Saturday, so I think it might be a little hard for females. I've even hurt my foot before from overdoing it (laugh).
Q. What would you like the entire group to do outside of musical activities?

Miyake: I want us all to go to the concert of an artist we like. It would definitely be reflected in our own concerts after.
Q. The title of your latest album is "READY?", but is there anything you're in the middle of readying yourself for at the moment?

Miyake: I've been training and listening to music I like to pump myself up for our concerts.
