What would a "Digitalian" be like if it actually existed?
It's super strong, you know! Super strong, and really sharp. Maybe like a Centaur. It's human from the waist up, and the bottom half is totally mecha, something like that (laugh).
Ever had a moment that made you think, "This might just be "Digitalian"?"
(after quite a long pause for thought) Wouldn't that be faxing? You can send mails by phone and by computer now, but writing something by hand and sending it... it's that sort of "small touch", right? You feed it in, they accept it, and then it's printed out; pretty obvious, though. Isn't that "Digitalian"? ...what am I even saying (laugh).
A brief comment for yourself from 15 years back
I don't really have anything to say, you know? I can't say that "Everything will go well"... and I don't want myself thinking that way at that time either. On the other hand, I also don't want to dash my hopes and say "Your future's going to be pitch black" (laugh). Well, I guess something like "I'm sure it'll be okay".
A brief comment for each member
For each member? That's hard. Ummmm... who should I start with. Aiba-kun. I'm very grateful to you. You really do bring peace to us. I mean... like with our closing speeches on the first day (of "Hawaii BLAST")? You actually forgot what should have been an unforgettable speech for you because you were so moved by Leader's tears! That was the best (laugh). Truly... I'd be in trouble if you're not around. And then, MatsuJun. I'm grateful to you... I really am. I guess you're a worrywart, which is why you're always worrying about things like "Maybe it's better if we do it that way" or "Maybe this way is actually better". You definitely do watch out for us from that perspective, after all, so thank you for always caring about us. Next up is Nino. I'm grateful to you. Thank you for your shrewd opinions. There are times when we can be really compatible, but there are also quite a few times when we don't see eye to eye. Nevertheless, on top of being in a group together, it's only natural that we won't always share the same views. That completely different point of view is interesting as well, and it's invaluable to me. Which is why I'd be in trouble if you're not around. Lastly, Ohno-san. I'm very grateful to you. You truly are our Leader. I watch you closely, you know. You're the very first one to speak up during important situations, aren't you? Even when I slipped during "Believe" on the second day in Hawaii... you made this gesture at me (a "calm down" motion). My mood would have been completely disrupted without that. Well... it's difficult to say what Leader is like. Maybe something like "The final frontier"? I... truly would be in trouble if you're not around. Of course, we wouldn't turn out this way without any one person, and I wouldn't be able to do it without those four people. I'm grateful to them all.
What is Arashi like to you at present time?
We're Arashi, but we're not Arashi on our own. The five of us are acting like the frontmen to one huge project that involves our staff and fans... everyone.
