(no subject)
10 years ago: 1995. 1st grade? yeah. first grade... my best friends were jeff schwarting, katie miller, christie hilly, and sarah shane(surprisingly). i would go over to sarah's house practically every day, and christie and i fought all the time. lol. i had ms. chemelka as a teacher, and i went to holmes elementary. i was very jealous at libby, because she was the only one in our class that could read chapter books. (i'm NOT making that up) life was simple... i was fat, but i didn't care. i had friends.
5 years ago: 2000. i was in 6th grade still at holmes elementary school. this was kind of the 'open of the eyes' year. this is where i realized who my real friends were, and who my real friends weren't. at the beginning of the year i was friends with all the 'popular' girls you might say. katie was too. but about half way through the year, libby and i finally said to ourselves... why do we hate eachother? so... we became inseparatable. yep. this is the year that libby, me, katie, and jeff started. the foursome. we had some problems through the year... but it was good. i had the best teacher, ms. harding, and my love for the holocaust started. (wow, that sounds terrible... not 'my love', but i really like learning about it. how bout that?)
1 year ago: ooohhh sophomore year. what can i say? too much i guess. i got to know jill better than anyone, and me and her became insepareable. we were super close. and i also got really close to brian UNGER too. we had a fun little group. dated brian NICHOLSON which was a big mistake... cost me way too much heartbreak for someone who doesn't even matter. pretty sure AP world history bit me in the ass. all in all, i guess it was a pretty good year. i made some friends for life, and that's good.
Yesterday: wow. i went to my second home... my grandparents' lake. it was wonderful. i spent the entire day tubing and riding the jet ski with my little cousins. ate tons of food. haha... my uncle made a comment about us having all this food while people in louisiana don't have any. my mom couldn't eat, haha. that night we roasted marshmellows over a fire which we haven't done since i was about 10. then my three cousins and i talked and watched tv. i really love those family times.
