Weekend!
So, a rather eventful weekend occured, so I shall write to all my wonderful readers about it.
Friday night! Worcester Sharks Hockey game. It was pretty sweet, and free... and the pep band played at it!!! Ok, so the Sharks lost, but... it was awesome/fun. Finz is their mascot... he's really cool looking/ loves the pep band. He threw shirts and fun stuff at us when other people wouldn't. Afterwards laughed at the drunk/dancing people in my room, played Never, Never, Have I Ever... and.... decorated my room with Christmas lights!!!
Saturday morning I got up with Lizzy and went to Dunkins for breakfast, and I was starting to get a cold. We went to a Stop and Shop with the pep band to play/raise money for charity. We literally played one song in the freezing cold, and then they told us we could play inside! YAY! So, we spent two hours playing Christmas music, and raised about $160 for charity... very nice. After that, was Pep Campus Center, cuz DAKA was closed. We hung out, and I tried the Shaq... a pizza that has BBQ chicken, bacon, and french fries on it... aka a heart attack waiting to happen. It wasn't terrible. Also, there's definetly a Festivus Pole in the basement of the campus center... along with a Christmas tree, menorah, and whatever the kwanzaa thingy is called (sorry, I don't know). oh WPI
Then, I went and watched Home Alone 2 with Lisa and Rugby, and then got ready and took the train to Boston! We went for Sarge's birthday to Fire and Ice... which was as delicious as I remembered it to be. Then we walked around the North End and went to Mike's Pastry... which makes amazing cannolis. Uhh, got back around 1:30am ish, and went to bed, cuz that cold was really hitting me by then.
Today, woke up, went to church and was rediculously sick there. Then went to the BBQ on the quad for lunch, thus continuing my avoidance of DAKA. Then at 1 went to the Basketball game to play with pep band, and got an amazingly awesome t-shirt that says "Gompeii is my homeboy" for the student athletic fans club. We won the game, which was awesome!
Now I'm going to bed cuz I'm sick... Winter Carnival starts today!!!! YAY IT'S GOING ON ALLLLL WEEK!!!
