i can't talk or type like a pirate, so this entry is going to have to be dull and lame. :( *cry*
anyway, lately with all the overtime i've been putting in has given me lots of time to draw, draw, draw. you should see my desk right now... i've got art strewn all over it. sometimes people stop and say, "wow!" before i shoo them away and tell them to go look at something that's actually good. even so, i'm starting to LIKE MY ART. i can't fucking believe it. :) i'm just so ecstatic and happy that i can't put it into words. i like my art. i LIKE my ART. *does the amy happy dance* i'm planning on doing a kinko's run tonight so hopefully i'll have some to show everyone. *dances some more* i kinda wish i didn't cancel my elfwood account now. stress on the word "kinda".
and if anyone is wondering why i cancelled the elfwood acct, it was for a lot of reasons. one is that i just hardly ever update it, and most of the art that was in there is always old and i always felt icky looking at it because i didn't really like it. another is that elfwood is just TOO FUCKING BIG, which causes other mini little problems, such as it takes a month for your new art to update, and then there's volunteer moderators who do whatever they want without being monitored themselves, and not to mention there's just a shitload of people. i think i'll be alot happier out of elfwood. next year when i go to college i'm going to study web pages, art, and animation, and when i gain the knowledge of how to build an awesome website, i'll buy my own domain and i'll make a nifty website and i'll post my art on it for all to see. for now, whenever i draw something i'm going to post it in my livejournal so at least i can show my friends. :)
um... i really don't have anything else to talk about. when you're working 14 hour shifts you don't really do anything else that's worth saying.
