So i'm back from Close Up and for lack of better words, it was amazing. Although Close Up practically took over our lives (i.e. giving us no free time from 730 till 10), I still managed to have a great time, make some new friends from around the country and fortify some friends from home. Despite NNHS being about 1/4 of all the kids in our hotel, the week was interesting and exciting. Also, it was just fun listening to all the uber-conservatives because they're silly (leah is now a self-proclaimed moderate and is no longer a conservative!) and seeing our gov. in action and such. Also, i got to try out some new styles thanks to my awesome roomate sam cohen (sam and my roomates were from Alabama and they were AWESOME because they were the only liberals down there, they made fun of alabama and were seemingly on crack every night). As a result, I wore jeans for the first time in a few years and apprently (you can judge for yourself on brenna's and leah's pics) i was a sexy beast. I also was awarded the privelage of wearing one of sam's sexy button-down to the dance which was also quite fun. So, overall, close was a great experience not only because i missed a week of school (suckers!) but i honestly had a great time. feel free to talk to me for some more details cause i don't feel like typing out a week's worth of stories.......SNAP-SNAP-RAINBOW!
