Well I just arrive at home from my vacation extravaganza in CO. Despite the rough start (i.e. NWA sucking and cancelling so we didn't get out till the following night) the vacation was awesome. We kicked it off with TONS of fresh snow for the first half of the trip which, as can be expected, is amazing especially in Vail because the mountain is absolutely HUGE (it can take upwards of 30 minutes to get to get down and out of an area such as Blue Sky Basin or one of the legendary Back Bowls). The 2nd half of the vacation was clear blue skies and warm weather minus the last day in which the snow started to get kinda crunchy and cold but it was still good. So yeah, overall it was a great vacation full of skiing at 11,000 ft., eating delish food and sitting in hot tubs. Hope all your vacations were just as good. Most of the exchange people are coming back this week which is exciting and then there's Close Up next week which is gonna be a blast!
