So I yesterday I got back from the NYC trip which was amazing and I thought I should let ya'll know what went down. We left thursday morning, watched Airplane!(love that movie) until we arrived at the UN on the East River. We got a guided tour through the complex and sat in 3 of council rooms (security council, UNESCO, and the General Assembly) which was somewhat interesting to a cerain extent. On the way to MoMA we saw REV. AL SHARPTON get into his car which made the entire trip worth it in itself. I liked MoMA a lot suprisingly despite my dislike for art musuems. The building was pretty cool cause it fit the feel of the musuem really well. I specifically liked the sculpture sections cause some of the stuff is pretty whacky. Later we went to our hotel in NJ (right outside the tunnel basically) which was the same as last year's. I roomed with Robbie and Mike which turned out to be quite a bit of fun as you can imagine. For the next 1.5-2 hrs. we all just hung around and relaxed cause we had been up for awhile. When we finally left, we to Time Square for dinner (group rip-off dinner at Sbarro's) and then we got to walk around for about 30 mins or so. Mike and I just walked around and went into the Toys R' Us cause its a bangin' store. Afterwards we went to the Gerswhin Theatre to see Wicked which was one of the best plays I've ever seen (and i've seen quite a few). I recommend that all of you go see it cause its a show you don't want to miss. The next day we went to the really ugly Guggenheim where we spent waaay too much time but some of the aztek stuff was pretty interesting. For lunch we went to Pier 17 at the South Shore Sea Port. After lunch a bunch of us just walked around at the stores and Mike, Robbie, Peter Roby, me created our band Ambrose and Lauren took our press photos (you can check 'em out on my worldisround account) which came out really well! On the way home I sat with Alison and we all watched Office Space (yet another amazing movie). So all in all, the trip was a lot fun, probably more fun than last year's trip actually.
