Need a place to live...

I'm still looking for a place to live. I'm ideally looking for a roommate situation or a 1br apt for $500 or less. Needs to be MARTA accessible (the closer to the station the better) and allow pets, as I have a cat. I'd really like to be in L5P/Candler Park/Inman Park/Downtown Decatur or surrounding areas, but I will consider anything that fits the ( Read more... )

Well, I have a room in my 4br house I am looking to possibly rent. I'd be looking for $450/mo, which is all-inclusive (water/power/internet). Washer/dryer incl. and no lease, just at-will renting (30 day notice if you wanted to leave). $400 completely refundable security deposit ($200 at move-in and $200 the next month, if needed).

I've got 4 cats, but they get along with other cats just fine. Would just need to see if yours would get along.

The only this is- it's right off Windy Hill, so it's not horribly close to MARTA, but my roommate doesn't have a car and gets around fine via CCT, which there is a stop right up the street, and it connects with MARTA.

Let me know what you think, and keep in mind that in the interest of renting to someone I actually know, I am willing to negotiate a lot of the terms.

Hmm...working near the airport that would be quite a trek to get to work by 9 every morning. I have a few other leads to check into, so if they don't work out I'll let you know. Thanks!

I've been better... but that's a long other story.

But I *can* tell you that when I would drive down to John's house, who lives in East Atlanta (out I-20), it would only take me about 20 minutes, and the airport was another 10 minutes from there. But yeah, let me know! :-)

Sometime I'd have a ride...but it would take like 3hrs to get there on public transport...
