Alright, I can't leave this journal dead anymore. Now that my second quarter of school is coming to an end, I can finally start to relax, and explore that old, magical land called Creativity that I used to call my home. They say it's hard out there for a pimp, and now I know what they mean. College is not for the feeble-minded. It has tested me far more than my hardest high school class ever did, forced me to stretch my brain to the limit. And I'm not quite finished, exactly...
It's finals week.
Monday was chemistry, Tuesday was physics. And tomorrow morning, at 8 AM, is calculus. I was satisfied with my performance on the chem and physics finals--I'm hoping I got an A in chem overall, and I don't think a B in physics is too much to expect.
However, math is a WHOLE different story. If I want to pass the course with a C-, I have to get at least a raw score of 75% on the final. Meaning I need to get 75% of the total points on the final, regardless of the curve. If the final is anything like Biskup's midterms and past finals have been, a 75% would probably be somewhere near the top score, out of the entire class of 180 students. So basically, to pass this course with a bare minimum grade, I need to outscore most of the class on the test.
Needless to say, I've been studying like a blonde girl studies for a pregnancy test.
Sixteen hours until apocalypse.
