Alright, Wii.

You've played with my emotions one too many times.

Today I went to EB Games at 1:30 PM, which is exactly the time the guy said you would come in as a shipment. But when I walked in, of course, none of you were left. The guy said the shipment came in half an hour early, and there had been a line waiting since nine in the morning. This is nearly three months after you were released, and I'm still supposed to wait in a line for hours to get you?

Then, as I was leaving the store, I saw a sign across the street at the Aahs! store that said "Wii In Stock". So I went over to check it out. Naturally, there were three of your uglier, less popular cousins, PS3s, on prominent display, and none of them were sold. And lo and behold, I saw you! You were sitting right behind the counter, underneath a sign. But as I got closer, I could begin to read the sign: "Nintendo Wii, $400". You were being sold for a huge markup, and you didn't even look new. I was crushed.

It's not as if I haven't tried, you know. I've been to stores up and down Southern California. Once I even looked for you in Arizona. I've called retailers, asked cashiers and employees, even got my parent and a couple friends to help me look. I may not want to wake up early or wait in line for you, but isn't that fair? You wouldn't do the same for me.

It's been too long, Wii. You're going to have to show up somewhere, sometime. And no, I won't settle for paying an exorbitant amount of money to have you sooner. I want you now, and I want you reasonably priced.

I'm not mad. I just think it would be good...for us.
