thanks for every thing
Well it has been a crazy year. Now I am done with High School. What am I going to do with myself you ask, well it is a long story. On the 17th of June, I am leaving for the summer to march Baritone Horn (not Sax) with the Seattle Cascades Drum and Bugle corps. So far, it has been a lot of hard work but I know when it comes to Finals, I am not going to want to leave. It is kinda like high school, I do not think I am letting go. I have been sitting at home for the last two days because I do not know what to do with myself. I already miss it. Not so much the classes and the stupid drama. However, I really miss the people and some of the teachers. High school teaches you a lot and I am so happy that I got to meet such great people that will be in my heart for as long as they keep me in there’s.
So now its time to move on and go to the next faze of life. I am going to college at Central Washington. I am going to major in music ed. and sax performance with bassoon on the side. Crazy...I want to be a band teacher. I found this out because of the great teachers I have had over the years. Music is not just a love it is a Passion. A passion is some thing that you want to teach and see go on for years after you are gone. Music needs to stay in the schools and I plan on working to keep it there. Just look at this year’s senior class there were about 40 of us. Most of us were the highest achieving in the school. Music needs to stay. (End of rant)
I wan to say thanks to all that have stayed with me and been my friends over the years. We have been through some hard times and we are still alive. For thoughs of you still in high school keep going never give up its hard but you will feel better at the end. I miss all of you already. I was sitting here thinking "I have no more Marching Band" this makes me sad. I know next year is going to be hard but there is a lot of talent and don’t let anyone tell you that it is not going to be good because you are going to do great and maybe I will see you some time. We will have to see :).
This is getting long so I need to finish up. Well I have 9 days 18 hours and 37 minutes before the tour with scades. That means any one that wants to hang out has that much time.
