Another Random Tragedy
A spider floats above, upon a single thread,
a single thread of web just above my resting head
If i were to awake, i might just break the thread
And send him crashing down, somewhere just beneath my bed
I don't wanna mess with his whole universe,
he's shaking thinks he might be cursed,
to never spin a web, would be a tragedy
and he would place the blame on me
A caterpillar crawls, along the fresh cut grass
minding his own business just as im about to pass
if i were to misstep, as my foot came down,
i'd send that larval arthropod somehwere deep into the ground
I dont wanna mess with his whole universe
hes shaking thinks he might be cursed
to never turn into a butterfly would be another random tragedy
She opened up her heart, and to my surprise,
there was nothing inside but a small vacancy sign,
so then i stepped inside, and ordered up a room
let out a sad soft sigh, knew id be checking out soon
I don't wanna mess with her whole universe,
she's shaking, thinks she might be cursed,
to never fall in love would be a tragedy
and she would place the blame on me
-Mike, I saw it in concert tonight, it was great. ($5 for 4 bands, you can't lose)
