I almost had a desire to teach elementary school today...ALMOST. I went to Emens after aerobics to go listen to the Tuskegee Airmen from World War II talk, and apparently the Muncie elementary & middle schools had the same plan. The place was packed with what seemed like all ages from 4th to 7th grade. And the program was supposed to start at 10...didn't actually start until 10:35. But anyway...the funny part. Once the MC got the auditorium & the kids settled down, she noted that there were microphones "on the floor" for students to line up & ask the airmen some questions. Well, once she says this, literally half the kids started looking "on the floor" below for microphones on the ground. Wow, it was funny...
Okay, just thought I'd throw that in there in case anyone needs a laugh. I've got to go grab lunch, sit through 3 hours of math classes, and then get ready to meet Hittson over at Teachers College for our SEA Mtg @ 5:30! (Yeah, she's our guest speaker...should be fun). Lata!
