Wow. What a great band.

It's one of those "I don't agree with your political views, your animal rights activisim, or your occasional swearing, but I love your songs" bands.

Siren Song of the Counter Culture is an amazing album. Every track is quote, unquote "Great Music." Minus the sparse and sporadic f-bombs.

I've only heard one song from ( Read more... )

revolutions per minute is about ten times better than the newest one. i was really stoked on that band when rpm came out but siren song disappointed me, i only really like about 5 of the songs, with the best being the last song.

"Rumors Of My Demise Have Been Greatly Exaggerated"

That is a phenomenal track, probably my favorite song by them.

Track 11 "Swing Life Away" also reminds me of those high school to college transition years that I hold so dear. I need to get the "acoustic punk album" (can't think of the name of it) with that on it, and see what else is on there.

we're losing daylight but i can't work any faster.
under the veil of dust we go on
don't close your eyes.
what if it all disapears in the shadows
that reach from the stars

if i held my ground would you ask me to change?
this drought bleeds on now we're dancing for rain
we drink the air but it's still not the same
these worlds collide but the distance remains
we point the finger, never accept the blame and i know.. i know

let's go!
