Back From The Concert

Well, I don't think that the weekend could have been ANY better (but the pictures could have come out a bit better). I headed up to Spokane after class got out around 2 on friday and ran some errands up there, saw a few friends around town, and then headed out to Karaoke. I "neglected" to call everyone at Parker's and they were all VERY happy and excited to see me. Steve and Marie gave me such bear hugs that I think I might have a cracked rib. But it was worth it to see everyone again. I miss my karaoke gang up in Spokane. Then Erick showed up around 11 and I went and crashed at his place on the couch. Got up around 10 and headed for Seattle. I got there a little sooner than I had planned so I stopped by a beach and did a little beach combing for a while (found a really cool Sand Dollar and a couple shells). Then it was off to Federal Way to where I was staying. Dropped my stuff off, took a shower, then headed for the Muckelshoot reservation to the White River Amiptheatre. The place was HUGE, and Mount Rainier was visible in the background. So cool. At 8 o'clock the preshow started and it was a guy by the name of Michael Johnson. Pretty much all piano stuff, but still pretty cool. That went on for about half an hour, then there was a 20 minute intermission and the REAL concert started. I must say 2 things about Josh Groban........he is an AMAZING singer......and he is HOT! He has an amazing repor with the audience and is pretty funny.....he still has his youth and told off the security guards several times for trying to get some of the people away from the stage. It was great. He sang for almost 2 hours and gave 2 encore songs. It was so amazing hearing his music in person. It was like 2 hours of solid goosebumps from the tones of music and anticipation at some of the buildups in the songs. If you get a chance to see him........GO!!!!!!!!!
