Wiped Out
Well. Fourth of July weekend is over and it's back to work and everything else in my life. I spent a good part of the weekend packing up everythingI've accumulated in the bunkhouse. How it is all going to fit into the new apartment, I have no idea. But the back of the car is packed full of stuff and I'm going to haul it down to Pullman in the morning.
I did get to go up to Spokane for the fireworks at River Front Park. Met up with Erick, Jay, Claire, Jimmy, and their baby Eli and some other friends showed up as well. We all met up at Dempseys and had a little bit of a drink before heading down to the park. Thankfully none of us got totally plastered. Just a little drink to refresh =). I must say that the display was rather amazing. Last year we all headed over to Lake Couer D Alene and really enjoyed that display too. We have decided that next year we are going to try and make it down to Grande Coulee to watch the display at the dam. Could be an interesting adventure.
Have just about everthing done here at work. Getting the place set up for the person that will be taking over for me. I hope that she will have a good time here. I know that I did. I'm gonna miss it a lot.
