I will be attending my first class tomorrow. Actually all five of my classes (that I intend on attending) tomorrow. 10-2 straight, then 5-9. Very long. But it'll work. Have to pick up my scholarship check and at least pretend to buy books. I am looking forward to the classes I have with Ben. His influence will ensure I go to class and that I do all the reading. That will be very helpful. At least the books, although laughable, aren't really hard reading. I enjoyed reading the first chapter in our history book, talking about all the old Homo Erectus, neolithic crap and talking about their cultures as if it were fact. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think we're quite at the point where we can make definite assertions about ANYTHING that long ago. Describing that stuff in the same way as describing something after the introduction of writing systems (true history) is just to stroke the pride of the morons who wrote the textbook. Whatever floats their boats.
Gotta call Cassie about the piano lessons she won in the ward auction. She definitely has music skillz and she went through the trouble of acquiring a keyboard just for the lessons to keep in her apartment, so it should be a good time.
Gotta play Starcraft with aaron sometime. I feel bad for promising to play with him last semester only to find out that the router was blocking everything off. I just gotta remember to call or something since heather is not online all that much. Gotta get a new phone plan too then. Verison it is... seems like most people are happy with their wireless service.
Ben and I are almost done with our first NBA Live season. We ended up with a 26-2 record in the regular season... lost to Orlando by a point, and Miami by 2 (final game). But since then we've thrashed the Clippers, Portland, and one game of the Lakers so far on our championship path.
