Wow..i haven't had a really great day. I didn't get into all-state for either cello or sax...which pretty much means i suck... a lot. That thing that liz put in her lj made me uber happy though. You should all read it. Yeah.. so at my lesson this week, my teacher was like "so your technique sucks..>" and he was going through all the things that are bad about my playing and concluded with "no one would ever know that your my student" I almost cried..i really did. I think that he think's i suck..which I do. But I mostly blame my old teacher for not teaching me technique...at all. he's like, get in position for C# maj. scale...and he's like "no...don't you know your scales, it's pretty basic" and i was like "noooo, i don't know ANYTHING" God, my old teacher really didn't prepare me properly. Thank God that I got a new teacher, or else Julliard would be WAYYY out of the question. I really don't want to go to select tonight and feel even worse about my musicianship, which i feel everytime i go there cause i suck at singing. and i still need to make up the tape test for deck the halls in 7/8 for mr. saint-sier. hmm..that was due like 2 weeks ago...haha, oh well....SO, i'm really tired, and happy that it's FINALLY THANKSGIVING BREAK! YAY! I can't wait to see the macy's parade...haha i'm such a loser, but I LOVE IT! soo.....select soon---- GROAN!
P.S. you'll probably notice that i'm getting more into les misérables again...or listening to the music more again, i never liked it less..haha
