I really need to start updating this thing more... then again, I say that everytime...
Well, these past few days/weeks/whatevers have been really crazy...
Umm... School's been keeping me busy. So much stuff due next week for FINALS!!! yay summer!!! I have a take home final for debate, evil math test on thursday, test in geog, and a test in geol... Plus a concert on sunday for band (which I guess can be considered a final....) The past few weeks have had field trips for my History of Planet Earth class... First Malaga Cove, then El Porto, last week was the Natural History Museum, and yesterday was the La Brea Tar Pits. OOOooooh, yesterday I went to Amoeba Records for the first time... OMG SO MUCH MUSIC!!!! I got a few cds (what with my limited funds as a college student ;^_^) like Interpol, Unwritten Law, Aquabats, Green Day, and CHARLIE PARKER 2-DISC SET FOR $9.99!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm in love with that Charlie Parker set....
Hmmmm.... Saturday I'm going to West's prom, so I'll see all you high schoolers there ^_^
Tomorrow I get to go to an award ceremony for a geology scholarship! Whoo!!! Yay for me!
On a sadder note, we had to put Jessica down on sunday... She had been sick for about 2 weeks and it just wasn't looking good for her... Tests showed that she had elevated liver enzyme levels and a few of her organs were inflamed. When it came down to my mom having to force-feed her, antibiotics, and her hiding (usually means that cat's aren't feeling well), the vet told us that there wasn't much more we could do for her. We did it mostly so she didn't have to suffer anymore through it all... I miss my kitty..... Oh well...
Life goes on I guess...
Everyone should come to my band concert on sunday! It's in the Marsee Auditorium at El Camino at 3PM and it costs $6 or free if you have ASB!
