Ow. My back hurts. I need to stop using my bed as a chair when I'm working at my desk. It's soft, but the lack of a back support is kinda painful. Yeah, yeah, I know, I said in a previous post I'm gonna stop blah blah blah, but I changed my mind, at least, in the fact that I'll update once every month or so, maybe more, I don't know yet. Eep, my mouse is blinking at me, battery's dying...

One more week and I'm outta here. 2 years of college gone by. I think about that now and then. 2 years I've been gone from home, gone from Nashua, gone from all my old friends. The years up here have been, well, interesting. Fun at times. Stressful most of the time. I had 7 hours of leadership training yesterday. I am the section leader for the tenor saxes next year, and the Band Board (section leaders, drum majors, director) have been meeting every week planning out what we are going to do next year, as well as this day of group bonding or something like that. It was fun, I got to know some of the people I hadn't really talked to much before, such as the Dance team people. Never see those chicks, they're always off doing their own thing. Anyway, we're doing two shows next year. The first one is a beach/latin theme, and is gonna be SWEET! Lots of dancing involved, which makes it that much better. Second one is Disney, with songs like "You've Never Had a Friend Like Me" and "Trashin' the Camp" (Drum feature).

School is, well, hard. I find it very difficult to find what the teachers expect out of you, which makes me have to guess sometimes. More than that, I have never been a good studier. My grades aren't bad, I'm not failing anything, I just wish they were a tad higher. I really just want to start learning stuff I'm actually going to use, the school has us do all of the generic stuff the first two years, which is a little straining at times. My room-mate and I decided to live together again next year. which is pretty sweet. We got a room in one of the most coveted dorms on campus, Hart. It's right near everything, including a dining commons (close to food = awesome) and the library.

I'm still trying to find a job for this summer. I almost had an internship lined up, but at the last minute they decided they didn't want me, so now I'm stuck scrambling around trying to get some work. Oh well, at least I still have my go-kart. Gotta fix those brakes though. And attach my lights. And install the electric start. But whatever, the thing runs great, I'm going to practically live at the quarry this summer with the Schranz's and my brother.

That's about it for my end-of-the-year update. Doesn't look like many people still use this, everyone's switched over to Myspace and Facebook (look me up on Facebook!).

Happy summer everyone!
