So, random facts about Midvalley. These aren't really canon, just stuff I've decided about him as a character to help me get in his head a bit more.
- When he was younger, Midvalley was often teased about his name, but as he grew into his looks that seemed to go away.
- Midvalley has perfect pitch. If he tells you you're off-key, you are.
- Midvalley is musically adept with most instruments, not just the saxophone. He can actually play the piano quite well.
- In addition to causing damage with his saxophone, Midvalley can also play "counter frequencies", which eliminate sound altogether. (This IS canon - I just never mentioned it before.)
- Midvalley likes the way he dresses - it set him apart from most of the rabble on Gunsmoke.
- Vash frightens him. He spent enough time around his brother to know what he's capable of, and that scares him.
- He appreciates the beauty of the female species. If a girl is pretty, he'll tell her so.
- Midvalley was never good with children, and he hopes to never have any of his own.
- Midvalley doesn't have a last name, and if he did, he forgot it a long time ago.
- It doesn't matter who you are, if you're being an ass, Midvalley will tell you. And then he'll probably tell you to shut up.
- The gun feature on his saxophone isn't one Midvalley likes to use. He'd rather use the handgun because he feels it's disrespectful to the instrument to use it in such a way.
- Midvalley will never ever let anyone touch his saxophone. Sylvia is off limits.
- Midvalley knows he's attractive, and he's not ashamed of letting everyone else know it too.
- Midvalley's sense of hearing has gotten him into trouble more than once, so he tries to be subtle about it.
- Midvalley will not tolerate being used, or seeing others being used. It doesn't matter who you are, who you work for - you have the right to do what you want, to be your own person.
- Midvalley's a dog person. He can't stand cats.
- It takes quite a lot to get Midvalley drunk, and he knows his limits.
- Midvalley's parents were actually quite supportive of his music, but they never saw much of a career opportunity in it.
- Midvalley claims he doesn't believe in God, but in desperate circumstances he'll pray, silently of course. And then deny it if asked.
- Midvalley knows exactly nothing about computers. They annoy him more than anything else.
- Midvalley is quite well-read, by Gunsmoke standards.
- The first instrument Midvalley ever learned to play was the guitar.
- After spending all that time with the Gung-Ho Guns, he is really hard to shock and actually quite adaptable.

- It amazes him that there's that much water in one place. Once he gets settled, he'll probably spend a lot of time just staring at the water.
- Midvalley doesn't know what most of the things - plants mostly - on the island are. That much greenery is a little overwhelming.
