Brief summary: philomel's gorgeous prose and character insight prevent this from being just a PWP. But it's still *plenty* steamy. Sawyer and Kate play cards, which leads to strip poker which leads to incredibly, deliciously hot sex. This made me completely nostalgic for Season 1 Sawyer/Kate banter, which has been sadly lacking in Season 2.

In the last one, a young Sawyer loses his virginity and we see not only the boy he was but the casually manipulative con man he'll become. The other vignettes are also well worth reading. A lovely piece.
