Merry Christmas!
Hi Journal,
Wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! I had a lovely day off from work, though others had to work till 1 pm (vacation days rock!). Tomorrow night (Christmas Eve) is our church's Christmas program, and I have a singing part with my family. Cover your ears! There is also talk of freezing rain coming in tonight and through the day, so it may not happen. I don't want to kill myself just to sing "Joy to the World". I'll sing it at home and watch my cats cringe instead of the audience.
Not sure if I'm going to my brother's house Christmas Eve to watch his kids open up presents. They got the kids The Beatles Rock Band set, and I've been dying to see the graphics. Can't play those games, but I love watching others play.
Christmas Day is at my other brother's house, and that is our family Christmas. Because of the tough times, the adults didn't buy presents. Just bought for the kids. Fine by me.
Hope to do some writing on my stories too while I'm off. Unfortunately I'm back to work on Monday. Was supposed to be off, but the job decided they wanted everyone to work, so off to work I go. I know I'll be glad to have the money, even though my body is complaining.
I'm off for tonight!
