We Are the Championsauthor.
the-summoning-dcharacters. Crowley, Sam
rating. PG-13
words. 766
summary. Conversations on the eve of Armageddon. Pre-5x22 coda.
read this. Perfect dialogue and characterization with an eye for metaphor. this gives us a look at a more "normal" interaction between Crowley and Sam we haven't really seen on the show.
title.
Shake the Dust Off Your Wingsauthor.
dark-roastcharacters. Crowley, Sam, slight Dean/Lisa
rating. R
words. 2979
summary. The normal, apple-pie life he had promised Sam, he'd imagined all of it.
read this. an interesting, unique take on what could have happened to Dean post-5x22. It goes a little farther into traditional lore than the show which is a nice dynamic.
title.
Carpoolingauthor.
alchemyalicecharacters. Crowley, Sam, slight Dean/Castiel
rating. PG
words. 1370
summary. Dean, Sam, Castiel and Crowley in the Impala. Oh my god, Sam thought. Worst. Car ride. Ever.
read this. A delightfully funny interaction between these characters as they're stuck in the Impala together.
title.
I Need No Sympathy author.
entangled_nowcharacters. Crowley/Dean, slight Dean/Lisa
rating. NC-17
words. 6152
summary. Dean knows there are no happily ever afters for people like him.
read this. this is a very dark look at what happens to dean post-5x22 as Dean struggles to keep his promise to Sam and maintain a relationship with Lisa from one of my favourite fic writers. also see:
No Expenses Spared title.
The Dealauthor.
icarus_chainedcharacters. Crowley/Gabriel
rating. PG-13
words. 3562
summary. Gabriel tricked the Devil and isn't as dead as everyone thought.
read this. The writer is good with imagery which I liked and I think she does a pretty good job of getting both their voices right, though Gabriel is a bit more angelic here.
title.
Lovers in League Against Satanauthor.
littlehollyleafcharacters. Crowley/Gabriel
rating. PG-13
words. 3952
summary. After Gabriel talks with Dean in the Impala (5x19), he visits an old friend for some last goodbyes.
read this. this fic shows a bit more of the human side of both these characters and also gives the idea that these two have been comrades and best friends for centuries without crossing over into the Good Omens fandom verse.
reccer's note. Crowley has wormed his way into my heart (quickly becoming my favourite character on Supernatural) for both his snark and humour, but also for his twisted sense of loyalty and humanity. I think he's a very multidimensional character that I hope to see a lot more both on the show and in fandom.
