odysseus, americanauthor.
coyotesuspectcharacters. sam/dean, john
rating. nc-17
words. 10000
summary. he finds peter o'toole's recording of the odyssey in a bin marked “audio" in casa grande's only used bookstore. the place smells like cigarette smoke and old books and reminds him of sam.
read this. one of my favorite stories in fandom. it also happens to be the perfect stanford-era dean-centric story. dean’s story of finding family and home when he is denied both. dean is written brilliantly, with just the right amount of suppressed loneliness, yearning, and heroism as he travels across america, hunting. the inclusions of themes from the odyssey are brilliant, and the relationship between the brothers is wrought with so much tension - both familial and sexual - that it will make you ache. includes scorching porn, great ocs, and as close to a happy ending as our show - and coyotesuspect - can get.

if daylight won’t receive youauthor.
coyotesuspectcharacters. claire, lucifer, amelia
rating. pg-13
words. 3000
summary. growing up at the end of the world, or: four times claire novak dreamed about the devil.
read this. supernatural always manages to give us these fascinating minor characters that have endless possibilities in the realm of fanfiction, but rarely get any attention. coyotesuspect manages to paint an incredibly realistic - and heartbreaking - portrait of the remaining novaks while reminding us that angels can be just as cruel as demons.
title.
divine interventionauthor.
coyotesuspectcharacters. sam/dean, castiel, chuck
rating. pg-13
words. 3800
summary. "dude," says sam. "I think castiel just hit on me."
read this. castiel is sam and dean’s holy matchmaker. the problem is, sam and dean don’t know it. this is hilarious, with a perfect castiel voice and a very satisfying ending.

coyotesuspectcharacters. maggie, corbett
rating.pg-13
words. 1000
summary. maggie still talks to corbett.
read this. an endearing look into maggie’s character, and her relationship with corbett. sad, but still manages to make you smile with its subtle humor and the touching friendship between the two.

origin storiesauthor.
coyotesuspectcharacters. sarah, jo, light sarah/jo
rating. pg-13
words. 8200
summary. sarah's willing to accept that ghosts are real. she's a little more skeptical that a string of suicides in albany might be the work of one.
read this. a regular old case!fic that stands out because it isn’t led by the winchesters, but sarah and jo instead. great characterizations + a compelling plot + a dash of femmeslash = a wonderful story that should be on your to-read list.
reccer's note.
coyotesuspect is a great friend of mine. also a great author. feedback on the stories is good karma *g*
