042: the way we were
Hi! I'm today's Guest Reccer. I was invited to rec for this community because I rec all the time at my personal LJ. (If you're curious, spn fic recs are here, and vid recs - for various fandoms - are here).
Over the course of four seasons, the feel of the show has changed quite a bit. The characters have developed and matured; the universe has opened to up to encompass more characters, and more mythology. But as much as I still enjoy the show, I often like to go back and revisit how things felt back in the earlier days, when the characters felt younger, and Sam and Dean's world encompassed ... pretty much only Sam and Dean.
These recs are for stories and vids that were created back during the first season, and I've selected them because I feel they really get at the core of Sam and Dean as they were then.
