well, at least they made the decision very easy for me. I met with my boss and her boss at EJ yesterday to talk about this whole job thing. did you know that people are often just complete liars who will tell you anything they think you want to hear at times? anyways, when they emailed me last week to set up this meeting, i replied saying i needed SOLID information, including things such as a detailed job description & responsibilities, salary, benefits, options for the meantime since the full-time position won't start til sept./oct. so we get into the meeting, and she says that she can't give me a job description, she still can't even guarantee 100% that there's even going to be a position since it hasn't been approved, and even if i don't quit and stay there now, they're still going to run an ad for the position when/if it's approved and i'll have to interview for it along with everyone else, so there's no guarantee that i would even get it. so exactly what have i been doing there the last 3 months?? right. it's also an exempt position (so no overtime pay). on the other hand, benefits and 401k begin immediately, but that's not enough reason to stay.
