just when you think you know your parents...
they go and do something totally unexpected.
atlanta was a lot of fun. it definitely wasn't as hot at the track as it was 2 years ago when i last went. brett and i left nashville after he got off work at 7:00, so we didn't get to atlanta until around midnight. we spent all day saturday and sunday at the track watching various races. my dad didn't crash or anything, so we all consider the weekend a success. we came back to nashville on sunday night in time for the fireworks downtown. the surprising thing was that my parents allowed us to sleep in the same room in atlanta...no questions asked, nothing. definitely not like my parents. very interesting. all in all, it was a very fun weekend, and it was great to have monday off just hanging out at the pool, going to see spiderman2 and relaxing.
