Done

I turned in all my IMP thesis materials today.  Tentatively scheduled for committee review April 23.  The shackles are not off, but the chain connecting them has been clipped.

I stayed up from the morning of the 31st to the evening of the 2nd trying to meet the deadline, and still had to get an extension because of computer issues.  Now my CD drive will burn CDs but not read them.  My DVD drive, cannibalized from DLF's old box, will.  After just barely recovering from that 3 day waking binge, i stayed up all night again, still not done.  Yesterday i was running on battery acid, as a song says, too little sleep, in a methodical frezy, printing, punching, and bindering everything.  I am disappointed at how my photos turned out--dark and icky.  My camera was not nice to me this time.  And my judgement and sense of lighting was not the best, photoizing on no sleep.

I wanted everything to be perfect.  I want to graduate with departmental honors, damn it.  I'm selfish like that.

I turned in 5 copies of my stuff, over 100 pages each.  I had barely used my print quota, so i checked it when i was done...i had 9 pages left.   And this is an undergraduate thesis.  People keep thinking i'm a master's student because of the things i think, say, and do.  What should flatter me makes me feel like a loser for not being a graduate student yet.  ...A few more months...

I managed to stay awake so long because i knew i had to.   I ate less.  I felt less pain.  The gloves that wore my hands turned the volume down on everything else.  I was going to be free soon.

My body felt inordinately hot tho, like i had a fever.  Adrenaline?  It still feels a bit warmer than usual.  It might take another day to get back to stasis.

Now it feels like part of my brain is missing.
