(no subject)
Well, spent the afternoon kinda cleaning up. Not so much as cleaning up as shifting stuff and consolidating some into bags for later sortage, throwing out easily labeled trash, putting reciepts and things for keeping in the keep bag. Although my biggest triumph was finally scooting under the bed and plugging in the phone. My old Siemens cordless wasn't working so well and was disconnected several months ago, but I never shifted what needed shifting and battling the cat hair under the bed (their favorite hiding spot). Also discovered the bed skirt will need to come off, as the area where the enter and exit under the bed now as a fur liner that wont come off by cat comb or special pet hair glove. And one sticky roller wouldn't do it.
Did realize I can officially declare my Sims Deluxe cds lost. Got it last summer after the new compy and when my brother couldn't find our liven large cd. Loaded it on the computer and probably hadn't used it since then. Probably is in one of the bags I need to sort (can you spot my bad habit?). Eventually it will surface.
I'm forced to do a bit of work tomorrow. Friday I wasn't sure, and once I finally decided to get the ones due today done, and got the images downloaded, the power goes off for an hour and a half (middle of the day, normal SoCal temps). Then after I get the images reduced and it goes off again, although only a few minutes. At that time I gave up (was already after 2), especially as the office was probably off Friday, and won't be back until Wednesday. But the farthest I'm going is to the bank and gas station tommorrow.
Bad news, had confirmation of one of the cats peeing on stuff again. So far it's been a robe, and a towel, both which had fallen on the floor in the same location (at different times). I'm guessing it's the old girl, as she's claimed the desk area (where the items were) and she twiters about there. But it doesn't seem to be enough to get to the carpet, which is good.
For anyone with a strong feeling on it, wondering what you think about lj tag lists in a side bar for graphic and resource journals? Kind of like what teh_indy has now. I'm a bit tired with my layout on sawcats_artshow and was going to work on a new one, and kind of like that idea.
