hehe I got mentioned in a podcast. I get one called Geek Acres, and signed on the frappr map for the show. I know, I am a dork.
I tried ordering the birthday gift for my mom from the British Museum's site. I'm getting her a statue of Anubius and Bastet, since she collects the little sandcast figures of the dogs we've owned. Her black dog looks like Anubius at times, and the black cat out front is Bastet, so it seemed right. I want to get replica canopic jars for my self, and really the price is quite resonable. Only problem was their checkout wasn't working. You click the final submit to send it in, and got an error, so I'm waiting to hear back from them. I put it off until after taxes (which they still haven't cashed yet), so a little longer wont matter.
I've been looking into buying a domain so this weekend I've been looking around at different hosts for moving my graphics and possibly sims stuff to as well. It's good timing since my one free host has to now resort to popup ads to cover costs.
Also made a small amount of progress in the room cleaning. Inspired by me coming home Friday and go to write an email, and the fricken keyboard doesn't work. It was getting juice (num lock light was lit) but nothing else. After unplugging and replugging, I finally rubbed the contacts with a small bit of rubbing alcohol and it decided to behave again. That process made me realize just how much cat hair was behind the tower, so it was start clean up the work area weekend.
I need to remember to catch up on my invoices tonight. I let myself get behind again. I think I will need to start entering the daily time each day when I finish to stop doing that.
