Ipod Jeans and more
Ok I heard this in 2 of the podcasts I listened to today, and it earned a wtf were they thinking with this idea. Levi Strauss is putting out a pair of IPOD jeans... with a docking cradle in the pocket, a special "joystick" controls in the watch pocket **insert on dirty thoughts here**, and retractable earbuds. I finished my two weeks of monitoring today. What should have been 3 hours of work today turned into 8 hours because some how one of the tracks on the excavator came off. If you think putting a bike chain back on is hard, this took the guy about 5 hours. It was only the one machine, and there was not a damn thing there. Basically I spent the better part of 2 weeks sitting on a pile of dirt watching more dirt come out of the trench. No work tommorrow, so will try to clean up the car some. Might not wash it yet as it's gonna be cold again. When I got to the area where I was working at 630 this morning, the car thermometer read 38 degrees, not to mention the strong cold wind all day. Had a tshirt, long sleeve shirt and hooded sweatshirt, a scarf, a knit hat and gloves. Good thing my aunt got me a nice pair of leather gloves for christmas, although I should look for some thicker knit ones cheap to have for work supplies. I was bundled up all day like that, the wind was brutal. Supposed to be similar tommorrow, so probably won't wash the car at 40-50 degrees outside.
