Waste of time

Thanksgiving involved no major crises, but it was still frustrating. An hour and a half of driving time + three awkward hours with people I don't know very well (many of whom think I am controlling or abusive) + another hour and a half driving on my last day off before SEVEN DAYS OF WORK IN A ROW = substantial irritation.

Maybe someday I won't work retail, and this season won't be so utterly soul-sucking for me.

I miss lots and lots of people right now.
