I went to Dorney Park with Cam and Matt today. It was the first time since 2003, when I worked there for the summer. It ended up being just as boring as I remember it and I was kicking myself for spending $32 on admission. I used to like the coasters, at least, but today they seemed like an annoyance at best. And Hydra, the new coaster... Fucking. Hell. I somehow thought I could handle it, because I'm fine with Talon. But it was extreme to the point of not being fun at all, and it made my head throb horribly. Walking around the park and going on other rides served only to augment the pain.
At home, I caught up on my TV shows and read most of A Seahorse Year by Stacy D'Erasmo, which is an amazing novel. It was nice just being able to sit and do nothing. I like to be busy, but I've been just the slightest bit too busy recently.
Fuzzy Bastard, the cat that has claimed my front porch as home, finally has a proper home to go to. Next week, he'll be going to live at Rebecca's apartment, which will be a huge load off my conscience. (Even though it's irrational - I'm not the jerk who decided it would be a great idea to abandon their sweet, fluffy cat in the country - I feel really guilty that I'm already too overrun with cats to take him). I'm in the process of buying her all the nessescary cat accessories.
Work all weekend... sigh. I hope the temp. agency calls me back soon. I hope they call me back at all.
