For the past few weeks, I have been getting Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly. I find this really, really upsetting because I never subscribed to either of them and I have absolutely no clue where they're coming from. (These aren't magazines I even really have any interest in reading). There haven't been any unauthorized charges to my credit card, but free magazines don't come from nowhere.

My dad really upset Rebecca and I today. While I was at work, my mom drove Rebecca to a job interview, then they stopped at my parents' place of business. My dad's friend was visiting from out of state, and my dad introduced Rebecca to him as my friend. He said, "This is Jess's friend, Rebecca... and this is MY friend, Mike." Apparently the tone of it was really weird, like a "don't you dare let him know the real nature of your relationship" sort of thing.

I talked to him about it later and he immediately got defensive, said it's "not his responsibility" to tell people that Rebecca is my fiance, and said that I take everything he says wrong. My mom accoused me of being over-reactive to terminology. I'm really angry with both of them and I don't understand why they can't acknowledge my relationship for what it is outside the privacy of home, even though they've been overwhelmingly supportive of it in every other sense.
