I think Henricksen would've totally been into becoming a hunter after all that, had they not killed him. That could've been interesting. Once he understood what's going on, he was so much cooler. Really the only thing against him before that was that he was trying to stop the boys, though.
Luckily, the way they've done this episode, I don't feel like it's blatant that this one wasn't originally after Mystery Spot. Sam didn't really have the time to appear any different from the way he would be after MS, so I'm glad for that.
Okay, so my crazy theory that I just thought of: what if somehow Bela and Ruby know each other, like maybe Ruby had something to do with why Bela got into the supernatural world, why she was targeted in Red Sky at Morning for being involved with a death of a family member. I don't know if that would be her reason for taking the Colt, but I don't think she took it strictly for selling. She'd have to know its importance and just how valuable something like that would be.
I dunno, just a thought I had.
