City Lights Scarf
The City Lights Scarf
GAUGE: #10 needles = ~3spi
2 strands together = 1 strand Kitten mohair (black) & Cascade Fiesta (fuschia multi)
MATERIALS: 2 skeins Kitten, 2 skeins Cascade
(NOTE: Fiesta is now called Copa)
PATTERN: ~36 sts wide, stockinette until out of Cascade
REMORSE: Would have used 'Madil Kid Seta' or 'Naturally Kid et Soie' instead of 'Kitten'
Kitten is unpleasant to work with, binds upon itself on the needles, and is scratchy in the end.
I would substitute Madil for an airier scarf, or Naturally for a heavier one.
Sew ends together for an 'eternity' scarf.
Use flatter pattern, possibly a simple lace.
So, basically, I hate pretty much everything about this scarf except for the Cascade Fiesta and the gauge.
