I still don't know where this is going. But I like writing it. It's nice to be a really excited Libertines fan again.

Sorry about the weird wording in the second paragraph. For some reason my notes for it were written in French.

there are dragons and sword fights and a damsel in distress )

the others, the libertines

How refreshing!

I want to start a revolution of love and happiness too (on the high seas).

Ok, ok. The particularly good bits: The banter/dialogue, the putting-chin-on-top-of-Pete's-head-thing and easy physical contact between our two favourite boys, and Pete hits Carl. "Rubbish."

A quibble, if such words exist: Would Pete and/or Carl say this:"Busking, man, busking." ? It strikes me as a little...west coast.

Hullo, we are pirates of joy! We bring you love and happiness!

I have no idea about the "busking man, busking." Busking probably is not a British phrase, but I have no idea what it is in British so I went with the busking bit. Heh.

But pirates cannot be pirates without plunder and pillage!

How peculiar! Actually, I was referring not to the buskings but to the word inbetween. Curious, though, that busking is a term used both in the UK, USA and Australia.

Plunder and pillage the emo and leave behind ruins of love and senseless acts of human kindness! Oh yes!!

Oh yes, man, I dunno, I thought it was used a little bit with the more posh accents, but I'm not sure. I'm a bad anglophile, really.

Ha ha! And every time the people see skull and crossbones on the horizon a great cheer shall go up, and generally float about their heads. No more Dread Pirate Roberts.

The "man" thing could go either way, really!
I won't tell on you to the British Embassy.
