Goodbye!
Hey folks,
After almost eight years (holy shit!) of funtimes on this journal, I have finally gotten tired of signing in and out of journals to post fic and edit posts/memories and what not. From now on, fic and ficcish funtimes will be posted at thesavvygambols. (You know what I haven't done in a while? A fic meme. I should do that sometime!)
Nothing has changed/will change. It's even the same layout! Ryan Ross will forever be my favorite baby chicken. The tagging system will be a bit cleaner, but I promise the fic will be as ridiculous as it has always been. Maybe even a little bit more.
I will NOT be deleting this journal or moving fic, mainly because being rec'd something and then finding that it's been deleted and/or locked is like the worst thing ever. I am slooooowly archiving fic at AO3, but I'm only up through 2007. Someday I will be caught up, dammit. I don't think I'll be archiving at DW unless people are really insistent, but for now I'm happy with AO3 and LJ.
Did you know I made this journal when I was a sophomore in high school? I'm going to graduate college in May. Oh my god. You can actually track my development as a writer! Thanks to everyone's who been reading since the beginning.There's a lot of love in this journal and I have had some damn good times here. A lot of good memories. But my laziness has won out.
