favorite story this year (of my own) and my best story this year: Oh my god, it's the same as last year; my best story was not bandom and my favorite story was, while tenuously bandom, not even posted. I'll try to post that particular story sometime because I love it so much, but it's gonna be 80% explanation, 20% fic. But! For the sake of this meme, my favorite bandom story was probably Like In Songs. Oh gosh, I like that one a lot. My best one, I feel, was also Like In Songs, but Can't think also comes to mind for having the balls to be so shameless.
most popular story this year, in my opinion: By sheer volume of comments, Like in Songs or Euphemisms, I think.
most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion: idk why you people didn't take to In Mike Carden's Garden tbh. w/e you haters. :D :D :D
most fun story: All of them! Inertia was insane amounts of fun though. Oh god. I had so much fun with Inertia. Intentions was a lot of fun too. And anything in the Hot RA Tom Conrad au always promises a good time.

But honestly, guys? As much as it pains me to give away my top-secret sneaky writer secrets, some of my sexiest bandom moments were definitely between Spencer and Ryan and then Spencer and Brendon in Euphemisms.
"holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story: MIKE CARDEN'S CARDEN. I still call Tom Conrad "Radish" ok. Also, idk how I got away with parts of Can't think. Andrew McMahon lost his toes.
story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: Inertia, because nearly everyone in that story is trying to take advantage of each other. On top that, it uses a lot of people I don't devote nearly enough attention to.
hardest story to write: Euphemisms because it was loooong. Little Shadows because it took me a month to figure out what that story was.
biggest disappointment: idk I kinda like everything I wrote this year. I feel like I could have done Find A Way better. And Empty is kind of too serious for the songfic that it is.
biggest surprise: That I finished Euphemisms? That I have started writing Hushfic with some kind of regularity? And who could have predicted Can't think. Of all the Warped fic I have in my head, that was not the one that I expected to come out. I have spreadsheets of Warped facts for Warped fic, and I end up writing the one that requires to remember my Grimms fairytales over everything else. Go figure.
most telling story: Totally Like In Songs. In a single line that fic reads: I LOVE THE HUSH SOUND. YOU SHOULD LOVE THE HUSH SOUND TOO.
overall: 2008 was a nice year for fic. Thanks for hanging with me!

-Jonas Brothers on Warped Tour no I am really fucking serious and yes you are going to love it I promise and you are even going to love the Jonas Brothers I mean seriously IT IS SO GREAT. It's almost done and I know you are all hella excited, right? Right?
-Heavy Metal Drummer songfic aka Heavy Metal Spencer fic aka Brendon Urie's Summer of Love aka Brendon Urie Gets A Little Bit Closer To Becoming A Man fic.
-Brendon and Spencer: penguin explorers in the Antarctic!
-Cash/Johnson/Singer. This was what my original cabfic exchange was, but then it was too long and I was too stressed so I went with option Cash and Ian: penguin explorers! instead.
-A high school musical au, I bet. I have at least three on my harddrive and a couple more in my brain. One of them involved Chris Brown. One of them involves Chris Brown and the Cab.
-Brendon Urie Goes To A Club Because Ryan Makes Him Go And Then Everyone Thinks He's Hot.
My wip list. :( That's not even half of it, those are just the semi-achievable parts. But, hey, as dreamofthem has advertised, I'm easy. I'll write whatever the hell you want me to write.
