I just started this book, and I have a feeling I am going to like it A LOT. He puts these great minds side by side to seem as if they are debating, with their lives and words.

In analyzing their biographies, however, we do well to keep in mind that human beings do not always live what they profess, nor profess what they live.
I am aware that no one--including the author--is neutral on such emotionally charged issues. None of us can tolerate the notion that our worldview may be based on a false premise and, thus, our whole life headed in the wrong direction.
**that last one really got me. i think that is a very real fear that i am conscious of every day.
