(no subject)
So finals start tomorrow, and my first one is one of my Gov classes; The American Presidency. As I've been reviewing our study guide for the exam, I've come to realize that I already have a strong understanding of the material, not because I am a diligent student and have kept up with the readings particularly well, but rather because I watch The West Wing. Honestly, The West Wing has prepared me more for this final than the actual course readings, which is funny considering this is supposed to be a fairly advanced political science course, and at a school that has one of the strongest gov departments in the country.
I'm not sure what that says about Harvard's goverment department, but I know that it only reaffirms in my mind how amazing The West Wing is.
Also, I thought that I was going to get all of my exams done early and then have a pleasantly long break before the start of the new semester at the beginning of February. Exams start tomorrow, and my first two are on the first two days, the 14th and 15th. Low and behold, my last one is on the very last day of exam period, the 23rd. No long break for me.
