This just in... The Missile Dick Chicks will be marching on Boston Common this Saturday in an anti-war protest. It's funny, because it just is.
http://www.missiledickchicks.net/ Things actually worth considering for events (and that I am just putting out there instead of an actual list I could stick to the refrigerator for Lauren):
Friday (Today!) - Veruca Salt is @ Harpers Ferry
The Phantom of the Opera is @ the Somerville Theater. It is the really old school film version with no soundtrack so they got someone to play live music to it. (This sounds dull to me, but I would totally go to the second installment which is Nosferatu @ Coolidge Corner with the Devil Music Ensemble. This, however, is Monday 10/31)
Also Tonight! - Friday the 13th Part III in 3D @ Coolidge. 3D!
Saturday - The New England Beer Fest!
Held @ the Cyclorama at the Boston Center of the Arts, located at 539 Tremont St., close to the Back Bay stop on the Orange Line. Doors open @ 1 pm
Also Saturday! - Bloodfeast! I know we are going to the party, but this is a journalism benefit @ Machine (usually a leather bar). I went to this thing last year in an abandoned church and it was good fun. Regardless, check out "Spikey Em" of the Boston Globe who puts this thing on.
