You know how sometimes people on your friend's list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? Since when are they dating HIM/HER? since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you *should* already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

1. First Name: Darcy...tho i answer to just about anything....including Savvy, which is the name I use at Faire :D
2. Age: 21, i turned while over seas... boo no drinking policies!
3. Location: Eastern Afghanistan. Yup.... I's at war!
4. Occupation: Soldier... Don't ask me why...it just feels right somehow.
5. Partner?: Sterling. I met him last year at Faire. This whole long distanc relationship thing is hard on the both of us. But I think it'll just make us stronger.
6. Kids: Not my cup 'o tea. I can handle the young ones fr about two hours...and then....i get unreasonably mad. Not good....
7. Brothers/Sisters: Two brothers. Xander, my older one, lives in my parents basement because he's a free-lance graphic designer. He started out, so he's poor. My younger brother, Ben, is the Manager of Ben and Jerry's Ice cream in the Belmar shopping center in Lakewood, CO. He has an apartment, but annoying roommates.
8. Pets: A singular demon cat, Taka. She's quite affectionate at times, and then others she's hell with claws. She's at my parent's house while I'm playing soldier. I plan on getting a dog when I get home.
9. List the 3-5 biggest things going on in your life:
Trying to get promoted.... PT is barring the path, grr
Got a new assignment. I'm a radio broadcaster/video person now. I like it better than just writting radio.
I only need to drop two pounds to make army weight standards. That's a hell of a lot better than the six I was sporting before leave.
10. Parents: Happily married....to each other. It's been 24 years now, going on 90!
11. Who are some of your closest friends? Well, Ro, for one. We've known each other since grade school, but through our church. Her sister Dory, too. We lost track of each other for almost five years, and then I showed up at the highschool they were attending. he friendship was reborn.
I also count Sterling as one of my close friends. I never have to guard my thoughts with him. He takes them at face value and then analyzes it from a different angle.
My mom, Christina from church, and Ben, complete the list.
